Brand kit ideas for law firms

Legal brands are read as evidence of the service. Imprecision anywhere in the identity is a live argument against the core competence being sold.

A real generated kit

What the generator produced for a law firms brief.

This is captured output, not a mock. It came back from the same engine behind the free kit generator, run against the brief below. The engine is deterministic, so you can reproduce it. Ashcombe is an illustrative name, not a customer.

What is different here

The brand is a work sample

This is unusual. In most trades a slightly sloppy brand costs you a little polish. In law, precision IS the product, so a misaligned mark or a vague sentence is a demonstration that you are not careful, which is the one thing the client is buying. It means every element has to be defensible: exact type, exact spacing, sentences that survive being read adversarially. It also means the copy has to distinguish general information from advice every time, without hedging into meaninglessness.

The mistake most brands here make

Most small firms buy an identity that looks like a large firm's. The result is indistinguishable from four competitors and says nothing about the specific practice.

What to actually post about

  • The rule people most often get wrong, cited properly
  • What is genuinely unsettled, said as unsettled
  • What a first meeting covers, so nobody arrives unprepared
Not for

Who this kit is the wrong answer for.

A firm wanting volume consumer enquiries through advertising. This kit is built for a practice sold on judgement.
