Your brand voice, measured from what you already write
Most brand voice tools ask you to pick a tone from a dropdown and then write in it once. This one reads writing you have already published and measures the properties that make it yours: how long your sentences run, whether you use contractions, whether you speak to the reader or from the brand. You get rules a person or a machine can follow, and a rewrite that proves they work.
How it works
Step 1
Paste two or three things you have written
Posts, emails, an about page. Anything you were happy to publish. Real writing is the only honest input here, because a voice you describe and a voice you write in are often different things.
Step 2
It measures, it does not guess
Sentence length, contraction rate, who you address, question and exclamation rate, emoji, vocabulary range. Every number is arithmetic over your text, so you can count it yourself and get the same answer.
Step 3
Take the rules and the proof
You get the rules your writing already follows, and a neutral paragraph rewritten to obey them, so you can see the difference rather than take it on trust.
What it produces
Every example below is real output from the same engine this page calls. Nothing here was written to look like a result.

What is a brand voice?
A brand voice is the consistent set of language choices a brand makes every time it writes: sentence length, formality, whether it addresses the reader directly, and the words it does and does not use. Tone shifts with the occasion. Voice is what stays the same underneath it.
Why a dropdown of tones is not a voice
The free rewriters that rank for voice queries offer a tone selector and no memory. Pick "friendly", get a friendly paragraph, come back tomorrow and pick it again. That produces a tone, once. It does not produce a voice, because nothing carries between one piece and the next.
| The usual approach | This tool |
|---|---|
| You pick a tone from a list | Your voice is measured from writing you already published |
| Applies to one paragraph, then forgets | Produces rules that hold across everything you write next |
| The result is a rewrite you cannot audit | Every rule names the measurement that produced it |
| No relationship to your brand identity | The same voice feeds the persona, the kit and the content engines |
Not for: Someone who has not written anything yet. This measures existing writing, so with nothing to paste, start with the persona generator and come back once you have published a few pieces.
Questions
Is the brand voice generator free?
Yes. The first voice profile costs nothing and needs no signup and no card. An account is for saving the profile and using it across the studio.
How much writing do I need to paste?
Two or three pieces is enough, and about forty characters is the minimum. More writing gives steadier numbers, because the measurements average across everything you paste.
What does it actually measure?
Sentence length and its peak, contraction rate, who you address, question and exclamation rate, emoji and hashtag use, and vocabulary range. Each number comes from counting your text.
Will it change my writing into something else?
No. It describes what you already do and turns that into rules. The rewrite it shows is a neutral paragraph moved toward your voice, not your writing moved toward a template.
What is the difference between voice and tone?
Voice is what stays constant across everything you publish. Tone is what shifts with the occasion, like an apology reading differently from a launch. This measures the constant part.
Where does the writing I paste go?
Nowhere. It is measured in this process and nothing is stored. Your writing is never sent to the AI provider either: only the rules derived from it, and a fixed neutral paragraph, are used to produce the rewrite.
